A Franklin County grand jury today indicted Deveonte Dixon on charges related to the shooting of two Mifflin Township police officers in May.
Dixon, 21, was indicted on two counts of attempted murder, six counts of felonious assault, one count of tampering with evidence and two weapons charges.
If convicted on all counts, Dixon faces a minimum of 40 years in prison with a maximum of 163 years.
Authorities said Dixon allegedly shot the two officers during a May 28 traffic stop. Dixon shot himself two days later when officers found him at an Obetz home. Dixon remains in the hospital.
