Spencer and Monique Tepe were shot at their Weinland Park house on Dec. 30. Monique Tepe's ex-husband, Michael McKee, has been charged in their deaths.

The affidavit said police were told by friends and family of Monique Tepe that she claimed Michael McKee was abusive and made numerous threats on her life during and after their marriage.

Michael McKee is charged with four counts of aggravated murder and one count of aggravated burglary in the Dec. 30, 2025 shooting deaths of Spencer and Monique Tepe at their Weinland Park home.

A Franklin County grand jury returned an indictment Friday against Michael McKee, Monique Tepe's ex-husband, who faces life in prison if convicted.
