Classical 101's Jennifer Hambrick interviews the award-winning Doric String Quartet at 7 p.m. Saturday, March 4.

They’ve taken the world by storm. This weekend, they’re coming to Columbus. Be here when it happens.

The London-based Doric String Quartet is recognized as one of the finest quartets in the world. Join me at 7 p.m. Saturday, March 4 at the Southern Theatre for a live, face-to-face interview with the members of the Doric String Quartet, right before the group’s 8 p.m. concert for the Chamber Music Columbus series.

The musicians will talk about their meteoric rise to the top, as well as their day-to-day work as members of a string quartet to watch.

In addition to winning prizes at major quartet competitions in Japan, Italy and Germany, the quartet has collaborated with some of the world’s foremost musicians and ensembles, and has performed at many of the world’s major concert halls.
