An air quality monitoring device hangs on a stops sign in East Palestine, Ohio, on Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2023, as the cleanup continues after the derailment of a Norfolk Southern freight train.

With each passing day, questions and worries mount for residents of East Palestine, Ohio, as they contend with the aftereffects of a Feb. 4 freight train derailment and hazardous chemical release.

Residents are complaining of rashes and headaches, and thousands of fish turned up dead.
