A Doctor Addresses Your Pandemic Injuries, Aches And Pains

Let's face it, these past few months have been anything but normal. We've been locked away in our pandemic hideouts, glued to our devices, masked, hunched over, jumping from one Zoom meeting to the next, barely sleeping and always eating. Our bodies ache, our joints crack and our eyes strain. The pandemic has done a number on us.

Doctors are taking notice. More people are seeking care for pandemic related injuries, aches and pains. This includes "laptop neck" and "selfie elbow" associated with prolonged work from home, and also increased stress, anxiety and less mobility.

Joining Cincinnati Edition to discuss pandemic-related health problems and remedies is University of Cincinnati Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine and Pediatrics Kyle Kaufman, MD.

Listen to Cincinnati Edition live at noon M-F. Audio for this segment will be uploaded after 4 p.m. ET.
