'Max's Box' Helps Children Talk About Their Feelings

Courtesy of Amazon

In Brian Wray's new book Max's Box, a little boy's parents give him a box that will hold everything, including his feelings. Max fills the box until it grows so large, it gets in the way of everything he wants to do. Eventually, Max discovers a way to turn his box into something beautiful. Wray hopes his children's book is a conversation starter for children to to share their feelings with adults.

Brian Wray will give a reading and book singing at Blue Manatee Bookstore in Oakley on Tuesday, Oct. 22 at 10 a.m. The event is free.

Joining Cincinnati Edition to discuss his latest book and talking to children about their feelings is children's author Brian Wray.

Listen to Cincinnati Edition live at noon M-F. Audio for this segment will be uploaded after 4 p.m. ET.
