As an aspiring violinist, Jessica Chiccehitto Hindman landed what she thought would be her dream job with a professional ensemble in New York City.
But she soon learned the ensemble was a sham. When the group "performed," the microphones were never on. Instead, the music blares from a CD.
In her memoir, "Sounds Like Titanic," Hindman shares her experiences during four years on tour performing the music of a man she identifies only as "The Composer," and her struggles with emotional honesty.
Jessica Chiccehitto Hindman, now a creative writing instructor at Northern Kentucky University, recently spoke with Cincinnati Edition about "Sounds Like Titanic."
