Texas governor Greg Abbott has threatened to arrest state Democratic lawmakers who fled the lonestar state this week to deny the GOP-controlled assembly the quorum required to conduct state business.
The issue at hand: pending voting restrictions.
Republican state lawmakers across the country, including Ohio, have introduced their own restrictions, tapping the false Trump narrative that the 2020 presidential election was stolen.
