Coming soon to some local Walmarts: robots.
That is, 3,900 robots will be deployed in stores across the nation. Some 1,500 will clean floors, another 300 scan inventory on the shelves, with 900 automated as pickup towers for online orders. Another 1,200 robots will sort deliveries.
