Cavaliers Cruise Through First Round... What's Next?

The Cleveland Cavaliers move on, but if they want to win a championship, they’ll have to do it without one of their best players.

Cavaliers

The Cavs swept the Boston Celtics in the first round of the NBA playoffs, but it’s about to get a lot tougher. The Cavs take on the Chicago Bulls in the second round. That’s bad enough... but they’ll take on Derrick Rose and company without two of their best players.

Kevin Love is home recovering from surgery after a dislocated shoulder in game four against Boston. And J.R. Smith is suspended two games after taking a swing at a Boston player.

Ohio State Baseball

This week we’ll hear why the Ohio State baseball team is back in the top 25 for the first time in five years. The Buckeyes are 31-10 on the season, good enough for the No. 11 ranking in the country and 3rd in the Big Ten.

The Buckeyes have a big weekend series with Illinois, the top team in the conference.

To talk about Buckeye baseball, After The Score brought in Jeff Svoboda from Buckeye Sports Bulletin.

Treadmills

Treadmills can be the best friend and worst enemy of a runner, at the same time. They can beat you up, they don’t always run perfectly, you can step off the side of it mid run… they’re just kind of annoying.

But have hope, treadmill haters, an Ohio State professor has an invention that might just save the day: the sonar treadmill.
