Ohio State has revoked the registered student organization status from the Alpha Nu chapter of Pi Kappa Phi for the next 10 years.
The decision follows an investigation into an incident in March that ended with a student being hospitalized and the fraternity being placed on an interim suspension.
This status revocation follows an investigation that found violations of the following sections of the Code of Student Conduct: Hazing, Endangering Behavior and Alcohol.
Following the 10-year suspension period, the fraternity can petition the Office of Student Life to return to campus.
A university spokesman tells WOSU the fraternity has a five-day window to appeal.
