Bruce Foster is accused of killing two people and injuring four others in a shooting at KDC/ONE, a cosmetics production facility in New Albany.

A Licking County judge has set an Oct. 27 hearing date to determine whether the man accused of killing two people and injuring four others at the KDC/ONE facility in New Albany is competent to stand trial.

Bruce Foster III had previously undergone a psychiatric evaluation. In May, Licking County Common Pleas Court Judge David Branstool ordered Foster to a psychiatric treatment facility.

Foster's lawyer Brandon Shroy said Central Ohio Behavioral Healthcare came back with a report Thursday saying Foster, 28, is competent to stand trial.

During a hearing on Thursday, Shroy asked for a second evaluation. The judge granted Shroy's request.

The two people killed in the February workplace shooting were KDC/ONE employees. Foster was also an employee at the facility.
