Columbus City Schools District Office.

Columbus City Schools on Monday will consider the employment of a custodian accused of sexually abusing a child.

During Monday's meeting, the district’s human relations department will provide a recommendation on the custodian, who has been on paid leave for over a year. He was accused of sexual abuse by a 10-year-old student.

The case was reported to the authorities, but no charges were filed. The custodian has worked for the district since 2009.

Superintendent Talisa Dixon will decide potential action against the custodian after receiving the department’s recommendations.
