WBNS-TV chief meteorologist Chris Bradley has died, two weeks after starting hospice care for acute myeloid leukemia.

Bradley recently wrote on Facebook that he was “out of options” and relying on his faith in God.

Bradley, 53, went through five rounds of chemotherapy, a stem cell transplant, failed clinical trials and an immunotherapy trial after being diagnosed in March 2017.

“Truly, we have fought this disease together. Our love for each other is so strong and saying goodbye has been excruciating for all of us,” Bradley said.

Bradley ended the Facebook post with a wedding photo with his husband, Jason Bradley-Krauss, and their two children. Bradley said the photo was “from the happiest day of my life.”

Bradley and Bradley-Krauss married in New York City in 2014.

Bradley became WBNS-TV’s chief meteorologist in 2006 after leaving WSYX-TV. A native of Indianapolis, Bradley graduated from Indiana University in 1987. Before coming to Columbus, he worked at TV stations in Dayton and Detroit.
