President Donald Trump and porn star Stormy Daniels could be on stage in Ohio at the same time, some 90 miles apart.

The Republican president is leading a Saturday evening rally at the Delaware County Fairgrounds to shore up support for state Sen. Troy Balderson. Trump endorsed Balerson for Ohio’s 12th Congressional District special election on August 7.

Trump’s event is scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m.

Meanwhile, Daniels is scheduled Saturday for her second straight two-set night at Diamonds Cabaret in Centerville. The strip club opens at 7 p.m.

Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, has said she had sex with Trump in 2006, when he was married. He denies that.

Trump’s rally for Balderson follows a campaign event with Vice President Mike Pence, with just days left before Tuesday’s election. Balderson leads his opponent, Franklin County Recorder Danny O’Connor, by just 1 percent in recent polls. Ohio’s 12th District, a Republican stronghold for almost 40 years, has been a major target of Democratic efforts to recapture Congress.

Clifford returned to Columbus for two performances this week after being arrested at a strip club in July. Clifford was booked to appear August 1-2 at Vanity Gentlemen’s Club on Bethel Road.

While performing at the Sirens strip club on Cleveland Avenue on July 11, Clifford and two other women were arrested by undercover Columbus Police officers for violating the state’s “Community Defense Act.” Charges were quickly dropped against all three women, and Columbus City Attorney Zach Klein said he will no longer prosecute cases under the law.

Columbus Police said they are reviewing the motivations of the undercover officers.
