Torrance Gibson Suspended From OSU

Ohio State football player Torrance Gibson has been suspended from the university for the fall semester.

The redshirt freshman wide receiver was expected to see significant playing time this fall.

OSU says he was suspended for violating the student code of conduct, but did not give other details. At his press conference on Monday, head coach Urban Meyer said he disagreed with the suspension, but did not comment further.

Gibson came to OSU as one of the most-celebrated members of the 2015 recruiting class. He was recruited as a quarterback out of American Heritage High School in Plantation, Florida, but switched to wide receiver amid a log jam of talented QBs at OSU.
