Crimeans vote to join Russian Federation: What's next

The vote on Sunday for Crimea to join the Russian Federation raises more questions than answers, said two political and history experts on All Sides with Ann Fisher. Sean Kay, director of the Arneson Institute for Practical Politics and Public Affairs at Ohio Wesleyan University, said that Russia will now have to "own responsibility for the economy" of Crimea. He also predicted a swift exodus of capital from the already economically unstable region. Both Kay and Steve Miner, director of Ohio University's Contemporary History Institute, said that Russia had more interest in Crimea when it was home to a large Russian minority in Ukraine.
