An international real estate company has purchased Polaris Fashion Place.

O'Connor Capital Partners has been an investor in the Delaware County mall for more than a decade. The company announced Wednesday it now holds 100% ownership.

In a statement, CEO Bill O'Connor said the acquisition reflects the the company's long-term confidence in the Columbus market and in Polaris Fashion Place as a cornerstone asset.

“By curating a thoughtful tenant mix and continuing to deliver a best-in-class experience, we will ensure that Polaris remains a cornerstone of the community,” O'Connor said.

Polaris general manager Tamra Bower said O'Connor's experience and commitment to creating vibrant community-centered destinations aligns with the vision for Polaris.

The company did not list a purchase price. The Delaware County Auditor's Office lists the taxable value at $101.9 million.

Polaris' previous owner, Columbus-based Washington Prime Group, announced in April it was selling Polaris and would be laying off more than 130 employees at its headquarters.

O’Connor Capital Partners is a privately-owned, independent real estate investment, development and management company with more than $35 billion in historical investing activity.

O'Connor has offices in New York City, Palm Beach, Florida and Mexico City.
