An area filmmaker is getting a soundtrack release this fall. Dale Farmer, writer and director of the award-winnig film The Mountain Minor which premiered last year, spoke with Niki Dakota on WYSO's Excursions about the film's soundtrack release – WYSO's CD of the Month for November '20 – featuring many regional area old-time musicians including Ma Crow and The Tillers, Elizabeth LaPrelle from international touring folk duo Anna & Elizabeth, and more.
The soundtrack to Dale Farmer's The Mountain Minor is available now, and is WYSO's CD of the Month for November 2020. The film will also be screening on Dayton's PBS station ThinkTV16 this December. More information is available at TheMountainMinorMovie.com.
