Four Former Chaminade Employees Accused Of Sexual Misconduct in Penn., DDN Investigation Finds

A Dayton Daily News analysis of an explosive Pennsylvania grand jury report detailing sexual abuse in the Catholic Church has uncovered new connections to Dayton’s Chaminade Julienne High School.

Dayton Daily News reporter Will Garbe broke that story this week. WYSO’s April Laissle spoke with Garbe to learn more about the investigation, and hear how officials at CJ are reacting.

April Laissle is a graduate of Ohio University and comes to WYSO from WOUB Public Media in Athens, Ohio where she worked as a weekend host and reporter. There, she reported on everything from food insecurity to 4-H chicken competitions. April interned at KQED Public Radio in San Francisco, where she focused on health reporting.
