School levies, police levies and other tax issues will all be on the May ballot.

Steve Harsman, deputy director of the Montgomery County Board of Elections, says voter registration is critical.“These issues have tax implications to the voters in each jurisdiction," Harsman says. "We’ve had several elections over the last several years that came down to one vote. So it’s definitely important for people to cast their ballot because every vote truly does count.”

Early voting begins Tuesday, April 4, statewide, both in-person and by mail.

The primary election will be held on May 2.
