United Grinding To Create Headquarters in Miamisburg

United Grinding North America has solidified plans to move their headquarters to Miamisburg, a move that will bring 40 new high-paying jobs to the Miami Valley.

The company already has a facility in Miamisburg that employs about 100 people, but recently decided to make the city its headquarters. They’re now set to build a new 13 million dollar, 100,000 square foot building in the Austin Boulevard area.

Montgomery County, JobsOhio, and the city of Miamisburg all helped finance the move.

Miamisburg Development Director Chris Fine says the precision machine parts maker chose to invest in the city for a reason.

“They have confidence in the Miamisburg community. They talked a lot about the leadership, both political and administrative leadership of the community. They liked the fact that we are a progressive community," said Fine. "We have proven over the history of their time here that we are a community that does what we say we’re going to do.”

The company is set to break ground on the new facility this fall.
