Hamilton County Requests Protective Equipment Donations

Courtesy of FDA

Hamilton County officials are putting out a call for personal protective equipment (PPE) donations.

Emergency Management & Homeland Security Agency Director Nick Crossley is looking for N95 masks, surgical masks and more.

"It's widely reported that we're experiencing a shortage and we anticipate a greater shortage so we're reaching out to the community and working with the Health Collaborative to try to provide an extra resource to our health care and first responder community," says Crossley.

The request mirrors those at the state and federal levels asking places like dentist offices, veterinarians and construction companies to donate their supplies. Hair salons and beauty supply stores may also be able to assist.

Crossley says this is a "blind ask." There are no estimates as to how many extra supplies may be out there.

Specific Needs

  • N95 masks
  • surgical masks
  • disposable splash gowns
  • exam gloves (latex-free preferred, but all unopened boxes of gloves will be accepted)

Call 513-263-8200 for donation drop-off location and additional information.
