Cincinnati Edition speaks with Sara Moore, senior manager of emergency preparedness with the non-profit Health Collaborative about their work responding to health care emergencies in the Southwest Ohio, Northern Kentucky and Southeast Indiana region.
The Health Collaborative is a part of the Greater Cincinnati Disaster Preparedness Coalition and they say they are working to respond to the current COVID-19 outbreak by coordinating and filling requests that come in from hospitals and other providers needing emergency supplies. Their members include hospitals, emergency medical services, emergency management, public health and other community partners in parts of Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana.
