PBS Fall Lineup Starts Sept. 9

Public television opens its fall TV season in six weeks, with Masterpiece Theatre'spremiere of The Miniaturiston Sunday, Sept. 9.

New PBS fall shows include Anne of Green Gables: Fire and Dew(Sept. 23);  Ken Burns' look at The Mayo Clinic: Faith – Hope-Science(Sept. 25); Great Performances Grammy Salute To Music Legends with Neil Diamond, Tina Turner, Queen and The Meters (Oct. 5); and four-week examination of America's first residents in Native America(Oct. 23);  

Returning series include Christiane Amanpour's Amanpour and Company(Sept. 10); Ann Curry's We'll Meet Again(Oct. 30); and NOVA's Apollo 8(Dec. 26).
