The has finally begun hosting a variety of musical concerts for area music fans. The first concert was by the Butler Philharmonic on September 24th, 2017. The next concert will feature the sounds of the Blue Wisp Big Band, a band which has been performing on the Cincinnati jazz scene for decades.
The Blue Wisp Big Band will be on stage at the Sorg Opera House on Saturday, October 21st from 7:30-9:30pm. The Sorg Opera House is located at 63 South Main Street in Middletown, Ohio. Proceeds from this concert will support the ongoing renovations of this historic venue whose acoustics have been praised.
The Sorg Opera House will also feature “spooky Sorg tours” as part of Downtown Middletown Inc.’s Saturday, October 28th.
