Longtime Cincinnati musician Tim Goshorn died Saturday April 15.

Goshorn performed with Pure Prairie League, The Goshorn Brothers Band, and The Tim Goshorn Band.

"Timmy was a wonderful musician," says WGUC Host Brian O'Donnell. "A terrific songwriter and singer. He was a craftsman and never stopped working on his craft. He was a monumental force in the Cincinnati music community for decades, and certainly the love he had for his family was so very admirable."

O'Donnell worked with Goshorn on several projects for Cincinnati Public Radio. "Tim and his brother Larry contributed a very sweet Silver Bells to our very first WVXU benefit CD, Ring Vol 1 and Tim wrote and recorded one of his originals, Jesus & Elvis for another WVXU benefit CD, Get Real Gone (2014)."

The Fort Thomas native was also a member of the Northern Kentucky Music Legends Hall of Fame along with his brother, Larry Goshorn. They were inducted in 2015.
