Gaia Vince is the former editor at Nature magazine who decided to leave her office and travel the world to see how people on the frontline of our changing environment are living. 

She found some extraordinary people and stories, and has compiled them in her book, Adventures in the Anthropocene: A Journey to the Heart of the Planet We Made. Thane Maynard with the Cincinnati Zoo spoke with Gaia Vinceabout her journey.
