"This Week in Cincinnati" and "The Race" premiere Sunday on WCPO-TV as the presidential race heats up.

Anchors Craig McKee, Carol Williams and Tanya O'Rourke will rotate as hosts of "This Week in Cincinnati" (11 a.m. Sunday, Channel 9), a roundtable discussion and analysis of the past week's stories.

The Channel 9 show will "take advantage of the considerable resources available to wcpo.com" for government and politics coverage to "look at the issues, newsmakers and politics" each week, according to the WCPO-TV announcement. It sounds similar to WVXU-FM's week-in-review discussion on "Cincinnati Edition" at 1 p.m. Fridays, which usually has participants from WCPO.

McKee will host the premiere Sunday.

"The Race" will be hosted by Mike Sacks, broadcast political correspondent in Scripps' Washington, D.C., bureau. He will focus on the presidential race, and other major political races.

In recent weeks, WCPO-TV has broadcast paid programming 11 a.m.-noon on Sunday.
