This week's show starts off with one of my favorites, Leon Russell's "A Song for You."  In the first set you'll also hear from Garland Jeffreys, Jonell Mosser and Gov't Mule.  The second set includes Lucinda Williams who's in Europe for most of her June and July shows this summer.  Steve Winwood follows as well as Robbie Robertson with Galactic from the Fats Domino double-cd tribute release.  And, the 2nd set ends with Marcia Ball who's been nominated for a 2016 Living Blues readers' award for most outstanding keyboard musician.

And the final set features Eric Clapton, Charlie Musselwhite, guitarist Tommy Emmanuel, and Todd Rundgren.  Guitar Player magazine's reporting that Clapton's "suffering incurable damage to his nervous system" which is making playing the guitar difficult.  Todd Rundgren will be in town with Ringo Starr & His All Starr Band at Riverbend on Wednesday, June 22nd.
