With the internet, smart devices and social media, kids today have access to more information and opportunities to interact with more people than ever before. And that makes them more vulnerable than ever before to online predators, cyberbullying and exposure to inappropriate material.
Joining us to discuss how to keep kids safe while they are online are TimRettig, president and CEO ofIntrustIT, a provider of technology and cloud computing solutions; his daughter, Lauren; and Cincinnati Better Business Bureau Community Outreach Specialist Sandra Guile.
The Cincinnati BBB will present Monitoring and Controlling Kids on the Internet on Tuesday, June 21, at Interact for Health, 3805 Edwards Rd., Cincinnati. Breakfast will be at 7:30 a.m. followed by an informative presentation by TimRettig, president and CEO ofIntrustIT at 8 a.m. The workshop is free.
