"The Funhouse Massacre" is now available on DVD and Blu-Ray.

"The Funhouse Massacre" filmed at the Land of Illusion Haunted Scream Park north of  Middletown last year is now available on DVD and Blue-Ray.

Horror movie veteran Robert Englund ("Nightmare on Elm Street," "Freddy vs. Jason") stars as the warden of an asylum from which the nation's "most notorious and colorful serial killers escape," says the website.

On Halloween, the homicidal maniacs "descend on a giant funhouse whose theme is based on their different reigns of terror. The unsuspected carnival-goers think that the carnage created is just part of the show, that is, until they become part of the main attraction," the site says.

Jere Burns ("Justified," "Dear John"), Scottie Thompson ("NCIS," "The Blacklist," "Grey's Anatomy'" and Clint Howard ("How The Grinch Stole Christmas," "Austin Powers") also star in the film.

Produced by Petri Entertainment, "The Funhouse Massacre" opened in theaters last November on Friday the13th. The film is rated R for "bloody horror violence and gore, language, some sexual content/nudity and drug use."

"The Funhouse Massacre" was one of five movies shot here last year.

"Marauders," filmed here last fall with Bruce Willis and Christopher Meloni, opens July 1. No word yet if there will be a special Cincinnati premiere by the Greater Cincinnati & Northern Kentucky Film Commission.

8762 Thomas Road, in Butler County's Madison Township, opens for the season  Sept. 2.
