CBS Kills 'Supergirl,' Revives 'MacGyver,' While Adding 6 New Shows

After great buzz a year ago, "Supergirl" was sent to the CW by CBS Tuesday and replaced with a new high testosterone lineup featuring Kevin James, Matt LeBlanc, MichaelWeatherly,DermotMulroney,a "MacGyver" remake and a drama inspired by "Dr. Phil."

Here's a look at CBS' 6 new fall shows, three dramas and three comedies:

BIG MOVE:When CBS airs Thursday night NFL games (Sept. 15-Oct. 20), "Big Bang Theory" again will air at 8 p.m. Monday, followed by Kevin James ("King of Queens") returning to CBS in "Kevin Can Wait" withErinnHayes ("Hotwivesof Las Vegas").

After football, "Kevin" moves to 8 p.m., followed by Matt LeBlanc ("Friends") in "Man with a Plan." The third comedy -- "The Great Indoors" starring Joel McHale – airs on Thursdays after CBS' last Thursday football game.

DRAMA:MichaelWeatherly("NCIS") stays on Tuesday night in "Bull," as trial consultant Dr. Jason Bull, based on the pre-TV career of "Dr. Phil" McGraw. "Dr. Phil," his son, Steven Spielberg and PaulAttanasio("House," Homicide: Life On The Street") are among the producers.

Lucas Till (Havoc from "The X Men" movies) stars as "MacGyver," a revival of ABC's 1985-92 action-adventure series, along with George Eads ("CSI").  Dermot Mulroney ("Shameless") stars as the chief of surgery in a new high-tech Silicon Valley hospital in "Pure Genius."

GONERS: "Supergirl" (moving to the WB in fall)  "Limitless," "Rush Hour," "Person of Interest," "Mike & Molly," "The Good Wife," "Angel from Hell," "Under the Dome," "Extant" and "CSI: Cyber."

MIDSEASON:  "The Amazing Race" and "Undercover Boss" return later in the season with two new dramas, a remake of "Training Day" starring Bill Paxton, and KatherineHeigl("Grey's Anatomy"),LaverneCox ("Orange Is The New Black") andDuleHill ("Psych, "West Wing") as brilliant attorneys defending accused murderers in "Doubt."

SUNDAY: 7, 60 Minutes; 8, NCIS: Los Angeles; 9, Madam Secretary; 10, Elementary.

MONDAY: 8, Big Bang Theory; 8:30, Kevin Can Wait; 9, 2 Broke Girls; 9:30, Odd Couple; 10, Scorpion. (Starting in October: 8, Kevin Can Wait; 8:30, Man With A Plan).

TUESDAY: 8, NCIS; 9, Bull; 10, NCSI: New Orleans.

WEDNESDAY: 8, Survivor; 9, Criminal Minds; 10, Code Black.

THURSDAY: 8, NFL Thursday Night Football. (Starting Oct. 27: 8, Big Bang Theory; 8:30, The Great Indoors; 9, Mom; 9:30, Life in Pieces; 10, Pure Genius.

FRIDAY: 8, MacGyver; 9, Hawaii Five-0; 10, Blue Bloods.

SATURDAY: 8, Crimetime Saturday; 10, 48 Hours.
