Beginning April 29, the ramp from State Route 562, the Norwood Lateral, to southbound I-75 will close. It's part of a highway widening project. The closure is expected to last 28 days.

Here are the details from the Ohio Department of Transportation:

Beginning midnight Friday, April 29, the ramp from westbound SR 562 to southbound I-75 will be closed until 6 a.m. Friday, May 27.

Traffic will be detoured to northbound I-75 to Paddock Road (Exit 9) back to southbound I-75.

Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place prior to the work zone to alert motorists of the upcoming work zone and ramp closure.

To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
