April is National Financial Literacy Month, sometimes referred to as National Financial Capability Month. Social service agencies, financial institutions and educational groups use the month to raise public awareness about the importance of financial literacy and the need for financial education, for both adults and children.

Joining us to discuss what we should all know about money, credit and finances, and efforts to increase and improve teaching financial literacy, are Director for School Relations with The Economics Center at the University of Cincinnati, Dr. ValerieKrugh; Hamilton City School District ESL Coordinator and Social Studies Coach and a member of the Teacher Advisory Board with the Ohio Jump$start Coalition, Corbin Moore; and, ChrisDeSimio, a financial advisor with Wells Fargo Advisorsin Cincinnati.
