Kate's Quick Bites: Seven Layer Dip

Joe Bishara, theater supervisor of Abbey Theater of Dublin joined Kate in the kitchen to make one of his favorite dishes and talk about how the city of Dublin supports theatre in that community.

Ingredients

  • 1 can refried black beans  
  • 2 avocados 
  • 12 oz jar salsa verde 
  • 16 oz Mexican cheese blend 
  • 8 oz sour cream  
  • shredded lettuce  
  • chips 

Small dice the avocado.
Spread the beans in the bottom of a serving dish. Then add the avocados and part of the salsa verde. Cover with half of the cheese. Spread the sour cream on top. Add more salsa. Top with lettuce and the rest of the cheese.

Enjoy with chips or just by itself!
