Capt. Seth Koval of Stoutsville, and Capt. Curtis Angst and Tech Sgt. Tyler Simmons, both of Columbus, died on March 12th. Their remains will arrive at Dover Air Force Base in Delaware.

NTSB Chair Jennifer Homendy said the investigation could take 12-18 months. She said a preliminary report will be out in a few weeks and the agency might issue safety recommendations earlier.

The crash involved a charter bus carrying more than 50 band students to a conference in the Columbus area. Three students and three adults - two parent chaperones and a Tusky Valley teacher - were pronounced dead at the scene.

The charter bus was transporting students from a school in eastern Ohio, Licking County Emergency Management Agency Director Sean Grady said.
