Defense contractor Anduril Industries is a new sponsor of Ohio State athletics. That includes banners at Ohio Stadium.

Defense manufacturer Anduril is now an official sponsor of Ohio State athletics.

Anduril, which is building a plant to make drones in Pickaway County near Rickenbacker International Airport, said in a statement that the company intends to be a community partner.

The multi-year sponsorship includes ads in Ohio Stadium and the Schottenstein Center.

Anduril also will the "Defend the 'Shoe series," a 12-part digital video original series that goes behind-the-scenes of Ohio State's 2024 championship and more.

Ohio State Athletics Director Ross Bjork said that Anduril's sponsorship helps support student athletes while making an impact on the broader community.

Anduril plans to hire 4,000 employees over the next decade.

Anduril is expected to invest more than $900 million at the Rickenbacker site. A JobsOhio grant will cover about a third of that.

The company, which started hiring this year, is refabricating an existing building that will be used for manufacturing at the 500-acre complex.

In 2026, Anduril plans to add 300 new employees and build a warehouse.
