Richard "Duarte" Brown is a painter and mixed media artist whose work focuses on family, community and fostering our collective humanity.
Duarte is also an educator and has worked with kids across the Columbus region in multiple arts programs for decades.
In 2022, Duarte was awarded the Aminah Robinson Artist Fellowship and Residency from the Columbus Museum of Art.
