There are 62 health and human services levies on Ohio ballots this November, according to The Center for Community Solutions.
These levies support issues ranging from aging to mental health to developmental disabilities.
We will learn more about the county boards that run these programs and distribute levy money.
We will hear from an organization in Delaware and Morrow counties that has a levy on the ballot this year.
Plus, we will hear from a board that did have their levy pass last year – a year in which nearly half the levies on the ballot failed.
Guests:
- Deanna Brant, executive director, Delaware-Morrow Mental Health & Recovery Services Board
- Sue Villilo, vice president of clinical services & provider relations, ADAMH of Franklin County
- Kyle Thompson, policy associate, The Center for Community Solutions
