Their passion for universal design was borne out of tragedy and necessity more than two decades ago.
The custom home they built – not finding anything suitable on the Columbus market at the time--has served as a living laboratory, drawing thousands of people and attention from around the world.
And providing a road map for designing homes that adapt as owners age, face physical limitations, cognitive decline or other disabilities.
