We're talking about the future of the postal service on this hour of All Sides.

The United States Postal Service, in the words of the postmaster general, is out of money.

The federal independent agency generally relies on no tax money, and is largely funded by stamps, packages and other sales.

It’s once again staring at a $1 billion dollar. The forever stamp now costs 82 cents, but who’s writing and mailing letters anymore.

Now there’s a political battle over its future, and the use of mail-in ballots.

Has the postal service, with its rich history, outlived its mission?
