Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents, including one wearing a 'NOT ICE' face covering, walk near their vehicles, Thursday, Jan. 15, 2026, in Richfield, Minn.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, ICE, has significantly increased their activity during the second Trump administration.

After recent events in Minnesota, people in Ohio are on high alert about ICE activity.

The temporary protected status of Haitians in Ohio and beyond is set to expire on Feb. 3 unless a judge intervenes. Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine has warned of a possible increase in ICE activity.

This also means the number of protests and the presence of so-called “Ice Watchers” will likely increase too.

We will be talking about how protestors are being organized and trained and what advice immigrants in Ohio are being given about civil rights.
