The evolution of Columbus documented in new book

Columbus, like many cities, has evolved over time.

Once described as a “cowtown,” Ohio's state capital is one of the fastest-growing metropolitan areas in the nation.

In recent years Columbus, has garnered positive national headlines as one of the nation’s best big cities.

Despite the positive press, Columbus has its own history of redlining which identified some neighborhoods, largely populated by minorities, as hazardous resulting in the denial of home loans and investment services to Black Americans.

From redlining to the power of developers in present-day Columbus, we’re looking at the evolution of the Arch City.
