The Greater Columbus Arts Council has launched the Greater Columbus Public Art Strategy, the city’s first plan to expand and fund public art.
In the past, public art initiatives have mainly been located in select areas of Columbus.
The aim is to spread art across neighborhoods deprived of art.
We're discussing the initiative on this hour of All Sides.
Guests:
- Jami Goldstein, chief creative officer, Greater Columbus Arts Council
- Megan Cavanaugh, campus art collection manager, Ohio State University
- Merijn van der Heijden, executive director, Dublin Arts Council
