Art comes in many forms and some Ohio artists are going beyond traditional art by using more than a paintbrush and canvas.
In rural Ohio, artist Scott Hagan’s canvas is barns. Known as the Barn Artist, he paints large patriotic murals on barns and other types of structures like schools and gyms. His work has been featured in 18 states and counting.
Here in Columbus, Adam Hernandez, a Latino artist, specializes in public art. His canvas? The whole city. He has done large colorful murals, inspired by hieroglyphics and graffiti, in neighborhoods and buildings all around Columbus. And he's also a multiple award winner for his work.
For tattoo artist Brian Finn, his canvas is people, specifically helping those with trauma scars reimagine their scars with his art.
