What started as reading newspaper comic strips at age 4, led Jeff Smith to creating comic strips for "The Lantern" newspaper at Ohio State University and his becoming the author of the graphic novel series Bone.
Another local who went national: the Columbus Food Adventures food tour was rated twice amongst the top 10 best food tours in America by USA today. In 2024, they were voted number one.
We have unintentionally deprived our younger generation of the experiences we grew up with. That's what author and Columbus local, Adam Ferguson, is conveying in his recent book The Things You Have to Do Before I Buy You a Phone.
