The federal government remains shut down. What do Ohio lawmakers have to say about it?

Gov. DeWine’s working group releases its recommendations on the same day the Ohio Senate votes to override a DeWine veto related to school districts and property taxes.

In 90 days when it becomes law, school districts will no longer be allowed to ask for replacement or emergency levies.

And then there’s redistricting, the first of three deadlines has come and gone and now we wait to see if Ohio’s Redistricting Commission will release a map or will they wait for the next deadline?
