Youth sports have become bigger and better over the years, and no sport shows that growth more than soccer.
Youth soccer and travel soccer have a combined total of almost three million children, all with parents, siblings and friends involved in the sport.
However, with so many participants, problems have started to crop up. From the cost of travel teams' gatekeeping certain children to the rising expectations of children in their formative years. Plus there’s the time commitment of being on a team.
On this edition of All Sides, we’re talking about youth soccer, how it's changed and how it became so big.
