Journalists examine causes behind more than 200 Ohio jail deaths in the past four years

More than 200 people died in Ohio’s jails during the last four years.

The people who have died included men, women and teens and many of them struggled with addiction and mental health.

The USA TODAY Network Ohio Bureau spent a year investigating the causes behind the deaths.
